Legendary Italian Band Lacuna Coil Return to U.S. Stages In 2026 With Sleepless Empire Tour

Shortly after wrapping their Sleepless Empire EU/UK tour, Italian metal icons Lacuna Coil are set to carry that momentum stateside with the announcement of their Sleepless Empire U.S. Tour, launching in March 2026. The run will bring the band’s signature dark aesthetic and the emotional weight of Sleepless Empire to stages across North America.
Lacuna Coil will be joined by special guests Escape The Fate on all dates, with VOWWS supporting from March 24 through April 13, 2026, and AXTY appearing from April 15 through April 29, 2026. The tour kicks off March 24 in New York and concludes May 1 in Albany, marking a powerful return to the U.S. for the band.
The tour announcement arrives alongside the release of an official new video for “Hosting the Shadow,” capturing Lacuna Coil at full force during their performance at Aftershock Festival in October 2025. The clip features a special onstage appearance from Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe, who guests on the album version of the track.
Reflecting on the experience, vocalist Cristina Scabbia shared:
“Filming the video for ‘Hosting The Shadow’ at Aftershock, sharing the stage with my family in Lacuna Coil and with Randy Blythe was a truly cathartic experience. Randy is not only an incredible, professional musician, he’s also a precious friend and has added so much to our song. I think the video shows clearly the level of emotion and joy we shared both off and onstage – I used that positive energy to give it my all even though I was performing with a fever, ha ha! One of the most powerful moments on Sleepless Empire, “Hosting the Shadow” stands out for its intensity and emotional depth, with the video showcasing the band’s raw energy and commanding stage presence.

Sleepless Empire marks Lacuna Coil’s 10th studio album and was released on February 14, 2025 via Century Media Records. The album follows 2022’s Comalies XX and features 11 new tracks, each crafted as a richly layered soundtrack to a distinct moment in time. Dark, cinematic, and unmistakably Lacuna Coil, Sleepless Empire further solidifies the band’s enduring legacy within heavy music.
