GRAMMY® Award-winning guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Christone “Kingfish” Ingram unveils a fresh, soulful side of his artistry with his latest single, “Nothin’ But Your Love,” now streaming on all digital platforms. Infused with smooth R&B influences and heartfelt lyricism, the track serves as a preview of Kingfish’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, Hard Road, arriving Friday, September 26 via his own Red Zero Records. Pre-orders and pre-saves are available now.
Hard Road will be released in multiple formats, including digital, standard Green & White Swirl vinyl, and a limited-edition Purple & Gold Swirl vinyl (500 copies) sold exclusively through Kingfish’s official webstore. Of these, 100 special editions will feature a Golden Ticket insert, redeemable for a pair of tickets to a Kingfish concert of the winner’s choice.
“‘Nothin’ But Your Love’ is on the R&B tip, for sure,” says Kingfish. “This is one of the songs I’m looking forward to everybody listening to…because it’s a beautiful song.”
The follow-up to 2021’s GRAMMY® Award-winning 662, Hard Road also features the fiery first single “Voodoo Charm” and the groove-driven “Bad Like Me.” “Voodoo Charm,” with its blistering guitar work and funk-powered swagger, has already become a live favorite as Kingfish debuts material from the new album on his expansive Hard Road Tour.
Currently underway in North America, the tour includes headline shows, festival appearances, and special guest performances from Mathias Lattin, Dylan Triplett, Buffalo Nichols, and Artur Menezes on select dates. European and UK shows follow in November, before Kingfish headlines the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise #44: Eastern Caribbean (January 24-31, 2026) and Jam Cruise 22 (February 7-12, 2026). Full details and ticket links are available at www.christonekingfishingram.com/kingfish-tour.
A native of Clarksdale, Mississippi, Kingfish continues to bridge the past and future of the blues. Deeply rooted in the Delta tradition of B.B. King, Albert King, and Buddy Guy, his sound extends far beyond, weaving in funk, soul, hip-hop, pop, and jazz. His 2019 self-titled debut held the #1 spot on Billboard’s Blues Albums chart for 91 weeks, earned a GRAMMY® nomination, and won three Blues Music Awards including Album of the Year. With 662, Kingfish scored both a GRAMMY® and Blues Music Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. 2023’s Live In London earned another GRAMMY® nomination, plus Blues Music Awards for Album of the Year and a third consecutive win in Best Contemporary Blues Album.
With Hard Road, Kingfish embarks on his most ambitious and introspective project yet. Executive produced by Ingram and Ric Whitney, with production by Patrick “Guitar Boy” Hayes, Nick Goldston, and longtime collaborator Tom Hambridge, the album explores themes of love, loss, resilience, and self-discovery. Songs like “Standing On Business” and “Nothin’ But Your Love” reveal deeper emotional edges to his artistry, all anchored by his explosive yet tender guitar style.
Hard Road stands as both a reflection of Kingfish’s journey and a bold statement of what’s to come—an artist reshaping the blues for a new era, grounded in legacy but fearless in evolution.
