Holiday Magic: Lauren Spencer Smith Sparks Joy with Holiday Hit and Hallmark Premiere December 7
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 1
Breakout vocalist and songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith got fans into the holiday spirit this season with the release of her new festive single, “Last First Christmas.” The track arrived just in time to kick off the celebrations, inviting listeners to lean into love, nostalgia, and the cozy magic of winter.
The song dropped shortly before Spencer Smith’s appearance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27, where she helped ring in the season for millions watching nationwide.
Adding even more to the holiday buzz, Hallmark announced the release of its new film inspired by her song “Single On The 25th,” which will premiere December 7 at 8 p.m. ET, with streaming available the next day on Hallmark+.
“Last First Christmas” followed a landmark year for Spencer Smith, who earlier delivered her critically acclaimed sophomore album THE ART OF BEING A MESS and wrapped her international tour across Europe, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. She also revealed plans for a 32-date North American headline tour kicking off February 2026, with stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Austin and more.
Since emerging from her small hometown on Vancouver Island in 2019, Spencer Smith has built a powerful audience by sharing emotionally raw stories about breakups, self-discovery, and growing up. Her star has continued to rise with performances at the MTV Video Music Awards, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and the People’s Choice Awards, where she earned a nomination for Best New Artist.
This year, Spencer Smith’s music once again brought people together—this time with a soundtrack fit for the warm, joyful days of the holidays.
