Forest Shares Stunning “Prosthetic Stars,” Announces Tour With Clarion With April 7 Chicago Date!

Los Angeles artist Forest returns today with her new single “Prosthetic Stars,” out now on all streaming platforms. Fueled by stadium-sized guitar riffs and luminous synth textures, the track swells with controlled intensity beneath Forest’s commanding vocal performance. Rather than erupting, the song builds emotional gravity—balancing longing and unease—while driving drums keep pace with its restless momentum.

”Prosthetic Stars’ was one of the first real songs I wrote when I moved to Los Angeles,” Forest explains. “At the time, I was fresh off my party months and wanted more. Around that time, I realized the person I was seeing at the time was just a different type of distraction. In that moment, there’s no way I could have found love in another person. It’s a lot about throwing yourself into things that don’t mean much, jumping into the pool and then wondering why you’re treading water.

The new release follows last year’s four-song EP, Intravenous French Kiss, which featured the fan-favorite “Braid Your Hair.” That project introduced listeners to Forest’s blend of emo-leaning guitar work, raw introspection, and breathy yet resilient vocals. With “Prosthetic Stars,” she expands that foundation, sharpening both her sonic scale and emotional depth.

Renowned for her electrifying live presence, Forest has previously shared stages with Starcrawler, Chokecherry, Empty Shell Casing, and more. She rang in 2026 with a performance at the sold-out BurnDown Festival in Santa Ana, CA, and later this month will launch a nationwide North American tour alongside LA trio Clarion. About Forest:

Forest Shares Stunning “Prosthetic Stars,” Announces Tour With Clarion With April 7 Chicago Date! 1

Wading through a slurry of distorted guitars and sultry vocals, Forest brings listeners into a world crafted from chaos and foggy dreams. Based out of Los Angeles, Forest is an alt-rock artist who blends elements of shoegaze, pop, industrial, and 90’s rock into a uniquely delicious, hook-forward sound. Vulnerable and confrontational, her songs live in a space between desire and resignation, soft confessions with deliberate intensity.

While her songwriting glows with introspection, Forest’s live shows tell a louder story. Across the West Coast, she has built a reputation for raucous, high-energy performances that turn packed rooms into chaos, inciting crowd surfers and mosh pits. The contrast of tender, intimate lyrics among the rawness of that explosive physical energy has become Forest’s signature, proving she’s just as powerful in the quiet moments as she is when she’s commanding a crowd.

Forest is currently prepping her debut album, due for release in 2026.
