FKA twigs Brings Explosive Body High Tour to Chicago March 26

British multi-hyphenate FKA twigs reached a major career milestone this past Saturday, performing to a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The landmark show follows her recent GRAMMY win for Best Dance/Electronic Album for her 2025 release EUSEXUA, further cementing her status as one of contemporary music’s most boundary-pushing artists.

The setlist spanned the full arc of twigs’ 14-year career, featuring material from EP1 (2012), LP1 (2014), M3LL1SSX (2015), MAGDALENE (2019), CAPRISONGS (2022), EUSEXUA (2025), and EUSEXUA Afterglow (2025), alongside several unreleased tracks hinting at a bold new creative era.

Her Body High tour continues to showcase twigs’ signature worldbuilding, delivering immersive performances that bring the ethos of EUSEXUA to life in real time. In a nod to her deep connection with ballroom culture, she welcomed acclaimed voguers and MCs from New York’s scene to the stage—reinforcing both her background in vogueing and her commitment to fostering safe, inclusive spaces at her shows. During a poignant moment in the set, she addressed the audience before a stripped-back rendition of “Sticky,” sharing her enduring connection to the city: “New York has always been a home away from home. [New York] has always been the first place to really understand me.”

The performance has since drawn widespread critical acclaim, with outlets including Rolling Stone, The Guardian, i-D, and Alternative Press praising the show. The Guardian awarded it a perfect 5/5 rating, calling the spectacle “an Olympian display of pop prowess.”

Launched March 14 in Miami at Factory Town, the Body High tour represents a culmination of twigs’ multidisciplinary artistry over the past decade. The production highlights her expertise across Wushu, opera, visual art, vogueing, and pole dancing, as well as her classical dance training—recognized in 2024 with a debut solo performance and guest honor from the Martha Graham Dance Company.

The North American run continues with upcoming stops in Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Las Vegas, and San Francisco, before culminating at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this April. Select dates feature support from Tokischa, Eartheater, and Brutalismus 3000.
