This global initiative unites countries and communities\, demonstrating the power of music to transcend borders. \nChicago is the Global Host City for International Jazz Day 2026\, as it marks its 15th anniversary on April 30\, 2026. Jazz has deep roots in Chicago\, and Ravinia is proud to be a leader of the Chicago Jazz Alliance\, joining with partners around the city to make this celebration possible. \nRavinia—alongside jazz musicians\, arts organizations\, music educators\, venues\, and neighbors across Chicago\, in collaboration with the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz and UNESCO—is spearheading a month-long program of education and community connection\, including the featured concerts listed below.
