Twenty-year-old Nashville singer-songwriter Bo Staloch is on the precipice of his burgeoning music career. With three highly successful sets at Lollapalooza, the release of his EP “The Garden,” a new single for “Angelina,” and a North American headlining tour starting late September.

While at Lollapalooza, Bo performed an unreleased song entitled “Born To” which received many favorable responses and a lot of questions on the as-yet-unannounced release date. “I think that they received it well, and I’m excited for them to have it,” Bo said.

Previously, Bo had opened for artists such as Zach Bryan, Wyatt Flores, and Ashe. Looking back, he recalls how they all were so kind to him, and he hopes he can follow in their footsteps throughout his career, giving the same love, respect, and kindness to others.

They all had such great energy, just like the cities he’s performed in; he’s received different levels of inspiration through the people’s stories and influences from each city.

Bo has never been far from support and love; his family and friends have been a solid backbone of support, always attending his shows and encouraging him through every step of his career.

What is the secret to Bo’s successes so far? Trusting his gut. Adding that if it feels right, you should probably follow through with it. Well, from where I’m sitting, it is working out very well for him to be headlining at such a young age.

Keep an eye out for when he travels to your town. Chicagoans can expect to see Bo return in October when he’ll play Evanston Space on the 13th.

Now get ready and watch him soar!

About Bo Staloch:

For Austin-born, Nashville singer-songwriter Bo Staloch, family means everything. Even when he’s not surrounded by siblings and cousins, he feels their unconditional support as he delves into his innermost thoughts and stormiest emotions — just 19 years old, this old soul with an open heart holds nothing back from his visceral alt-folk and soul-stirring songcraft.

Bo’s Capitol Records debut, The Garden, is a powerful portrait of a new-Americana storyteller.

To flesh out the tales of love, loss, growth, and resilience he’d begun at his family home, Bo decamped to Laurel Canyon, working with producer Andrew Wells (Phoebe Bridgers, Teddy Swims, Halsey) in that secluded setting steeped in folk-rock history — a well of inspiration for so much of the music his parents played him as a kid.

Bo found his calling bit by bit: falling in love with guitar in student rock band; studying Gregory Alan Isakov’s indie-folk; getting lost in the rustic wildings of Bon Iver; and honing his songwriting for a senior project he designed to challenge himself to record at an actual studio.

It was the swaying “Springtime Red Tulips” (from that session) that introduced Bo to his fast-growing audience, led to his signing, and foreshadowed the ruminating yet passionate music he makes now.

Bo’s since toured with Wyatt Flores, John Vincent III, and Hans Williams, sold out headlining shows in London and Dublin, and has 2025 support slots booked with Ashe and Houndmouth. He’s also come to see his listeners as family. “Music’s saved me so many times,” says Bo. “I hope this can be a safe spot for whoever finds it.”
