Ambar Lucid Blooms Anew With Radiant EP El Jardín De Lágrimas

Mexican-Dominican songstress and sonic alchemist Ambar Lucid emerges from a soul-deep metamorphosis with El Jardín De Lágrimas, a stunning new 7-track EP released via Nice Life Recording Company. With this collection, Ambar invites listeners into a shimmering, bilingual dreamscape—where pain is poetry, healing is harmonic, and every tear becomes a seed in her garden of sound.

From haunted boleros to ethereal psych-pop reveries, El Jardín De Lágrimas is a spellbinding evolution in Lucid’s ever-enchanting universe. Her songwriting, both delicate and daring, glows with raw vulnerability—bearing witness to personal transformation and spiritual reawakening.

“The project is an expression of my ups and downs. I’m sharing my most vulnerable moments because music is therapeutic for me. It’s also an extension of my earlier EP, Garden of Lucid. I’m referencing a concept to link these worlds. Since I’m a big crier, it’s just a different garden,” shares Ambar.

More than just a body of work, El Jardín De Lágrimas is an offering—a vessel for release, reflection, and reconnection.

“I hope this empowers you however you need it to. I aim for it to have a positive impact. Maybe it inspires you creatively or it allows you to get the cry you needed. I hope it nudges you in whatever direction your destiny is meant to go in, and you feel more connected to yourself.”

The EP’s luminous lead track, “Angel,” is a heartfelt love letter to her fans—the kindred spirits drawn to her music like moonflowers to the night. Floating vocals meet celestial production in a surreal music video directed by Jordan Harkins, with RAW x World as the creative force behind its otherworldly visuals. Tarot cards swirl through clouds as Ambar drifts weightlessly among swords and goblets, visual metaphors for the emotional clarity and mysticism that define her sound.

El Jardín De Lágrimas follows the release of “6am” and “There Goes My Baby”—Ambar’s first songs with Nice Life and her first in nearly a year. Her return to the stage has been equally triumphant, with captivating sets at Hollywood Forever’s Día de Los Muertos celebration, Penguin Random House’s Love in Libros event in New York, and a spellbinding performance at the Sundance Film Festival’s ASCAP Music Café.

This new chapter for Ambar Lucid is a radiant bloom of truth, tears, and transcendent sound. And it’s only the beginning.

El Jardín de Lágrimas Track x Track by Ambar Lucid

“Stranger Dressed In White”

“This song was inspired by a surreal experience I had during a past life regression meditation, I saw a woman with long red hair running in a grass field in a white flowy dress. She ran to her RV van in the middle of a forest to meet her friends, who were all on psychedelics like her. Years after this past life regression experience, I was in writing with one of my best friends in Mexico City, a place with potent surrealist and whimsical energy that stimulates my creative brain. I found myself thinking about the woman I saw in my meditation long ago and had to write a song about her.”

“There Goes My Baby”

“‘There Goes My Baby’ was inspired by my longing for a love that wouldn’t look my way – at first. Despite the person’s lack of interest at the beginning of our friendship, I had a strong intuitive feeling that they were meant to be my love. The lyrics are everything I wanted to say to this person but couldn’t yet because our romance only existed in my head.”

“Forest” feat. Danny Schiller

“I hold this song very close to my heart. Danny Schiller and I wrote this song together, wanting to capture the unconditional love I feel for my siblings. I am the oldest child in my family, and my siblings are all significantly younger than I am. I often find myself feeling like their 3rd parent. I love them as if they were my own children. This song is a permanent reminder that my siblings can always find a home in me.”

“La Apuesta”

“I wrote this song after being in a situationship I could no longer handle being in. I liked the other person so much, it hurt me deeply to know they weren’t mine. This song was my ultimatum to him. Take it or leave it! I got what I wanted in the end <3"

“I Feel Everything”

“This song is a direct reflection of what it can feel like to be tapped into the psychic aspect of the human experience. It can be cathartic as an intuitive person to process both physical and non-physical reality. Humans are all connected and time is nonlinear, and these truths can make your head spin while processing every day life.”

“6am”

“This track was inspired by the realization I made about myself and my tendency to fall in love with people who recreate the mental suffering I experienced in my childhood. As I grow wiser and more self-aware, I try to steer away from personalities that hurt me but inevitably, when I fall in love again, I risk manifesting the same cycle. These are the kinds of observations that keep me up at night, smoking weed and digging deeper into my psyche.”

“Angel”

“This is a love song I wrote to the souls that connect with my music. In my heart, I feel a sacred relationship with those who resonate with the art and music I create. I can feel the energy exchange that happens in a non-physical plane of existence when someone’s soul feels seen in my music. That connection is my driving force in life, my supporters are my angels, and my inspiration to keep going.”
